Yes! Respect and recognition for our community workers is important to me and I want to get involved.

Please complete the form below to have your interest in this campaign registered.

ASU members are campaigning for recognition and respect for Community workers.Community workers deserve more respect and better wages and conditions than they are currently being paid.

ASU members need to campaign for their wages and conditions if they believe in the value of the work they perform.Livelihoods and the services ASU members provide are at stake.

Driving down the wages of already underpaid community service workers will ultimately undermine the care and support they provide to at risk Victorians. This is a campaign to keep care and respect alive in our community. It is aboutrespect for the work you do. It is also about ensuring care is maintained in our community. We hope that you, your workplace and the community you work for, will support it.

The fight for funding and security of your entitlements is the fight for your job
security, your clients’ welfare, and your organisation’s ongoing financial viability.

It is not a fight you can afford to watch from the sidelines. The kit is designed
to help you get involved and take the campaign into your workplaces and then
into your community. With your involvement we believe that we can all make a difference. Read on to find out what you can do.

Join the campaign!

Keep me up to date on the campaign and add my details to the proactive supporters that will make a difference to many low paid people doing important work for our community.
