Future purchasing arrangements for Job Services Australia: have your say in the DEEWR consultation round

By the ASU, the employment services union

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) released its Discussion Paper regarding ongoing purchasing and reallocation processes for Job Services Australia (JSA) on Wednesday 17 February 2010. Now it is time for all stakeholders, including workers, to have their say.

Future reallocation and purchasing processes within JSA services are of vital interest to all employment service workers and the industry as a whole. The ASU is keen to have a JSA service system in place that provides stability and certainty for jobseekers and workers alike. The ASU has been an advocate for workers and your need to have stable secure employment that provides a career that is rewarding professionally and financially.

We would like to encourage as many people as possible to read the Discussion Paper produced by DEEWR in conjunction with the Industry Reference Group regarding JSA purchasing and reallocation arrangements. The ASU is a member of the Industry Reference Group.
