Dear Premier Brumby, It has now been 6 months since the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission awarded SACS workers in Queensland equal pay, 17 months since you promised us a portable long service leave scheme and 18 months since our union started our campaign calling on your Government for improved funding to the community sector to address the workforce crisis. On the 10th November thousands of SACS workers rallied on the steps of Parliament house, coming from services as close as Melbourne and as far as Wodonga, calling on the Victorian Government to support our calls for pay equity. To date, there has been a deafening silence from you and your government. I urge you to support our call for equal pay, and meet with our union representatives to discuss this important matter. Premier, equal work deserves equal pay. Yours sincerely,
